What is Statigo for Holiday Home Owners ?

Statigo allows you the opportunity to rent your Holiday Home through a simple to use website

It offers the people looking to holiday in the UK the ability to view Holiday Parks and Holiday Homes throughout the UK and checking reviews, facilities and availability to be able to make an informed decision on their next holiday

How do you do it?

It’s a very simple process. Type and register your Holiday Home. Once your Holiday Home is registered which is completely free of charge you can add photographs, input availability of your Holiday Home through a very easy and simple rental calendar which you control.

Can I sublet my caravan?

This is a question for your holiday park, there hundreds of caravan parks throughout the country where subletting is allowed but others do not so please check with your Holiday Park.

Do I need extra Insurance?

Your holiday home should already be covered for Insurance, as its compulsory on holiday parks. We do advise that you check your insurance policy before going ahead with subletting though.

I don’t want any pets in my Holiday Home?

As you register your caravan there is a range of options you can select and this is just one of them.

What if I double book my Holiday Home?

We use a facility were once the customer has decided they want to book its up to you the owner to accept the booking, once this is done the calendar automatically updates which makes another booking through Statigo impossible. You can also keep up to date with your bookings in our admin section.

How do I arrange to get the keys to the people that have rented my caravan?

Through our messaging application you can arrange were these are picked up it may be in person, at the holiday park or by a neighbour its whatever is right for you.

Why use Statigo?

Statigo advertises your caravan to rent through a range of different channels and targets people who are looking to holiday in the UK. It’s a completely free with a service fee charged to the renter of the caravan if they book through the site. There really is no catch.

Why do I need to provide bank details?

Your  bank details are needed so you can receive payments for bookings made through Statigo.

We use a safe and secure payment system called Stripe which handles billions of payments worldwide. Stripe is currently used by blue chip companies including Adidas and Unicef so you can be assured of the safety of your transactions.  This was a crucial part of the design of Statigo as we are well aware of the dangers around fraudulent transactions within this sector.
